Sarah Barron
Broker Associate
Born and raised in the state of Oregon, in Sarah's sophomore year of high school, her family relocated to Taos, New Mexico. After leaving Taos, she continued her education at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she obtained her undergraduate degree with a double major in dance and English literature.
Sarah continued her study of dance, returning to Portland, Oregon, and then coming to the west Los Angeles area. She danced semi-professionally until the birth of her first son in 1989. During this time, Sarah earned a living (difficult to do dancing) working as a paralegal, then an office administrator for a small law firm in Brentwood. Moving to Glendora in 1994, for the high quality school district for her children, she found an endearing community with a quaint, small town feeling. In 1996, she began her real estate career. Sarah began with Southland Properties and has remained happily here to this day. Throughout her career in real estate Sarah has helped hundreds of families and individuals find what suited their real estate needs. She has worked equally with sellers and buyers. She is considered the office Relocation Specialist, having worked with many relocation clients, both coming in to the California area and leaving for job transfers. Sarah recently received the Top Producing Agent award for 2005. Approximately 6 years ago, in a growing desire to assist her clients, she began brokering loans to provide clients with convenience, better rates, savings on costs and an environment of convenience and trust. In addition to a successful full time real estate career, Sarah is active in the Glendora community. She keeps quite busy with her 3 boys and husband. Sarah's husband, Richard Barron, still races USCF masters cycling. Her two older boys, Loren and Alex play travel hockey (both ice and roller) at a very high level of competition. Her youngest, Cole, is in pursuit of his black belt in Karate, with still a ways to go, at 6 years old. And after all that, she still finds time for hiking, yoga, running and riding her bike up Glendora Mountain. |
